| For your summer stitching, we'd like to introduce you to three more exciting new yarns from Caron. They are all part of Caron's collection of wonderful yarns, in stores now. |
Simply Soft® Quick™
Think super-bulky Simply Soft® and you've got Simply Soft Quick. This super-sized version of Simply Soft is made with the same fiber as the worsted-weight variety, giving Quick the same softness and sheen as Simply Soft, too. Plus the super-bulky weight will help you fly through ponchos, throws, sweaters, jackets, purses, whatever in half the time! (more . . .)

Simply Soft® Brites™
Fresh from the tropics, this exciting new palette of Simply Soft colors reflects fashion trends in garments and home décor. For teen, tween and kidwear, for bedrooms and dorm rooms, Simply Soft Brites! are great for a knockout spring and summer wardrobe, too! (more . . .)

Fabulous™
Sophisticated and subtle, Fabulous lends a touch of shimmery color to any project. Knit or crocheted all by itself, or held together with another yarn, this multi-colored railroad ribbon creates a look that is truly unique. Plus, Fabulous has a wonderful suppleness and drape that can’t be duplicated. (more . . .).

| In our last issue of Caron Connections I suggested using a larger needle on the fancy yarns to achieve a summery look. This month, my suggestion is to go in the opposite direction, but for another great summer project—purses. I used a #8 needle when knitting Simply Soft® Quick to be sure nothing I put in the purse would fall out, and to give the bag stability. Try the same technique for Jewel Box™, Bliss™, Feathers™ or any of the great new Caron fashion yarns. It's amazing what just changing a needle (or hook) size will do for a project! |
