New Fashion Yarns from Caron®
Fringe Benefits
In this issue of Caron Connections, we want to show you two of our newest yarns that make beautiful projects and incredible fringe. You'll be tempted to stitch with these yarns just for the "fringe benefits" alone!

Pizazz™

A ribbon yarn loaded with fashion flair, Pizazz is truly captivating. Use Pizazz in patterns that will show off the vivid space-dyed tiles of color and the unique “pierced” openwork in this super-wide fancy yarn. Pizazz has a brilliant sheen that gives every project a dazzling finish. Pizazz’s generous 5/8 inch width makes it quick and easy to create purses, scarves, fringe and accents that add an exciting and colorful touch to every project. (more . . .)

Fabulous™
Sophisticated and subtle, Fabulous lends a touch of shimmery color to any project. Knit or crocheted all by itself, or held together with another yarn, this multi-colored railroad ribbon creates a look that is truly unique. Plus, Fabulous has a wonderful suppleness and drape that can’t be duplicated. (more . . .).

Tips from Cari
Embellishing your knit and crochet projects with beads is very popular right now. To achieve a unique look, you'll want to select beads with care. While glass beads are wonderful, they can be a bit heavy, especially if you use lots of them in one area. Consider using good quality faceted plastic beads: they are lightweight, they don't break and they can be put in the washing machine. Use beads on fringe or in the body of your work by threading the beads onto the yarn before you begin. (Simply Soft® is a great choice for stitching with beads!) Just stitch as you would normally, but with a looser gauge, allowing the beads room to work their magic!
