Wraps and Shawls are Hot!
What's the hottest project these days now that scarves have firmly established themselves as the jumping off point for new knitters and crocheters? Definitely shawls and wraps. They're the next generation of scarves but more useful for the upcoming spring season. They can also be used instead of scarves over coats for extra warmth (on days such as today here in Vermont that started off at 50 degrees and is ending up at minus 5). Plus you can experiment with shaping, fancy stitches and maybe even intarsia.
