In the last issue of Caron Connections, we introduced Simply Soft Shadows™, a subtle self-striping yarn that's made from your favorite Simply Soft fiber. But we just couldn’t stop with Shadows. Now we'd like to introduce you to Simply Soft Tweed™!

Using the same Simply Soft fiber that you've known for years, Simply Soft Tweed adds contrasting flecks of color to 7 solid shades. The result is a British tweed look with all the softness, drape and luster of Simply Soft. Better still, all Tweed colors a match a corresponding Simply Soft color.

One of the wonderful advantages of Simply Soft Tweed and Simply Soft Shadows is that you can use them in any pattern that calls for Simply Soft or other worsted weight yarn. We wanted a complete, coordinated range of shades that work for all Simply Soft patterns but add their own unique touch.  So without having to seach for new designs, you can give a whole new look to your "tried and true" patterns. Try adding Tweed as an accent cuff, collar or button band to a favorite sweater pattern, or a incorporate Tweed in a throw pattern, alternating motifs or adding a Tweed border.
