esigned using square crocheted medallions, the Aurora Vest is an ideal layering piece for your favorite teen or pre-teen! To give the vest subtle shaping, the upper medallions are joined with shorter chain lengths. And the lower medallions are joined with longer chains, letting more of the fabric behind the patterning show through. Because it's stitched in light-weight bamboo-blend Spa, the Aurora Vest has wonderful drape and can be worn in practially any season. Perfect!

There’s nothing more versatile for anyone’s wardrobe than a simple but elegant short jacket and Melissa Matthay has created just the thing.  Knitted in Country Renaissance Rose, the Baton Rouge cropped jacket easily glides between seasons and climates. The gentle shape of the slight flare, both in the body and the sleeves is so flattering. And the front eyelet edging perfectly complements the stitching on the body.

The stitch is a combination of knit/purl stitches with very easy yarn-overs to create the vertical eyelet rib patterning.  And the interesting way that Melissa designed the front gives the Baton Rouge jacket bona fide style.
