The Father's Day Gift Knit-Along on FaceBook was tons of fun--I've loved seeing everyone's Snookies, adapted for every gadget from camera to iPad!
If you haven't yet, be sure to upload pictures by Tuesday. Next week I'll post some of them on the Caron blog. Oh, and if you weren't able to participate in this KAL, don't worry--there'll be more to come that include crochet and are available on both FaceBook and Ravelry. Stay tuned!

Don't forget to stop by my blog for the most recent Movie Monday feature the upcoming film, Winter's Bone.

Unique and incredibly versatile, the Strasbourg Vest is the brainchild of designer Kim Guzman. Knit in Country Spice House, the basic vest is transformed by a pleated, adjustable collar. Expand the collar and you can wear it off the shoulder for an evening look. Or expand just the back portion to achieve a dramatic look. Simple drawstrings pulled through knitted eyelets are the secret to what will make this vest a wardrobe favorite.

Designer Margret Willson excels at creating crocheted garments that flatter and fit beautifully, but also work well with the rest of your wardrobe. This week, Margret brings us two crocheted pieces that are gorgeous worn together, but can stand alone, too. Her spectacular Lacy Jacket, crocheted in Simply Soft® for its superior drape, features lovely openwork ruffles, a deep v-neck and trim set-in sleeves. Both feminine and stylish, this sophisticated jacket makes a terrific statement when worn with a plain tank or with Margret's matching Lacy Cami underneath. The cami is a stand-out, too, with its own eye-catching openwork lace, a perfect v-neck and a drawstring empire waist.

Wear this set with a slim pencil skirt at the office, pictured here, or over a pair of skinny jeans for a special lunch date. Either way, Margret's exceptional design will make you shine.

The perfect opportunity to hobnob with your favorite designers, teachers – and everyday crocheters - is almost here, at the Chain Link Convention in Manchester, NH, July 8-10. It’s the perfect combination of twin guilds: the Crochet Guild Association (CGOA) and The Knitting Guild of America (TKGA) who are joining forces for classes, events, contests and just plain fun! And for those of you who are already going – see you at Club Caron!!
