The past week has been a busy one here at the Austin branch of Caron (aka my home). My daughter Clover & I were part of a Simply Soft® photo shoot, I put together a bunch of How-To videos for an upcoming web article, and did some behind-the-scenes knitting. Today, I'm typing to you from Southern California where I'm squeezing in a couple of family visit days while bragging about how quickly (and dare I say, awesomely) so many of you have crocheted the Urban Jungle beanie. If you get a moment, check out my FO round-up post on the Caron blog of pictures from our Flickr group and Ravelry!

Until next time...

Stitch.Rock.Love,

Designed in bamboo-blend- Spa by Melissa Matthay, the Corinthia Baby Vest is such a perfect year-round piece.  It knits up quickly for baby to wear now, yet it’s perfect worn over a long-sleeved top for those cooler fall days. A simple chevron eyelet stitch is used for knitting this top in one piece up to the armhole, then changed to stockinette for the yoke. The easy eyelet 8-row eyelet pattern is a great choice for Spa.  With all the toddler-perfect colors to choose from, you’ll want to make lots of Corinthia vests.
