I'm so excited because this week, I'm headed off to the Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY. I've been intending to go for years, but this will be the first time I actually make it! The best part about the trip (other than the obvious shopping opportunities), is that I'll be spending the weekend with several friends from across the country all of whom I met years ago through an online knitting group. The knitting & crochet community has provided me with such great friendships, many of which would have never happened without the internet. I'm thrilled to be able to connect with fellow stitchers through places like Twitter, Facebook and the Cuckoo for Caron Flickr Group. Please join me there, wontcha?

It's Movie Monday time again! Barry Munday is in theaters now and the yarnwear from it is featured on the Caron Blog!

His Tri-Color Hat

Speaking about gifts, be sure to put His Tri-Color Hat on your gift list, too. Brenda Lewis has designed the hat with a simple slip stitch knit pattern, making it easy to achieve the striking colorwork on the crown. And the deep fold-over ribbing makes for a comfortable fit on any size head. And of course, you can adjust the colors to make hats for all the lucky women in your life, too.
