This week Team Caron hit the Craft & Hobby Association trade convention in Anaheim, California where I yarn bombed a 10 ft. tree, live from the show floor! Armed with large knitted pieces I'd made using Sheep(ish) and the Ultimate Sweater Machine, I spent 4 hours be-cozying the trunk and branches while attendees stopped to watch. Here's a snapshot of the finished product.
Now I have an answer to that inevitable interview question, "What's the strangest thing you've ever knit?"
Stitch.Rock.Love,

Tulip / Etimo
Sox are still so hot – and so much more fun to knit when you have the best and smoothest of double-pointed needles, Kanderu from Tulip. I’m not a sock knitter, but boy did I enjoy using these needles when making a hat for my grandson!

Diamond Lattice Throw
Designer Shari White had a wonderful time playing with color and texture with her crocheted Diamond Lattice Throw. She had a great palette of color to work with—Simply Soft® Paints complemented by a solid shade of Simply Soft. Her diamond pattern scatters the variegated hues and the ribbed border sets off the colors beautifully.
