Turquoise is hot right now. From nail polish and pillows to hats and haute couture, we're seeing shades of beautiful blue-green everywhere. I personally consider turquoise 'my signature color' (said with a Southern accent a la Steel Magnolias), so there's no end to the glee I feel on a daily basis as I come across a plethora of aqua items! This week on the Caron Blog, I share just a few of the dreamy things I've spotted on the Internet plus TEN on-trend projects using our yarns that you can make yourself!

But, wait! You don't even have to leave this newsletter to get your color-family fix. Take a look to your right at the Blue Waters Vest!

Blue Waters Vest

'Seasonless' is the best term for describing the figure-flattering Blue Waters Vest, designed by Diane Moyer in NaturallyCaron .com Spa. The easy double crochet stitch pattern for the main section of the vest is complemented by its lace edging. The vest is rectangular with slits for armholes: no seaming makes construction a cinch! Layer it over a tank for summer or a long-sleeved top for cooler weather. What could be easier – or more wearable?

Ivy Topper

Designer Lorna Miser created the perfect summer top, knit in Kiwi NaturallyCaron .com Joy!. Knit in one piece starting at the lower front edge, the Ivy Topper has a 26-st cable up the front bordered by an easy eyelet pattern stitch carried throughout the sleeves and back. With the softness of Joy!, this is sure to be one of your summertime go-to favorites, for both work and play.

Tulip

As the weather gets warmer, lighter is always better, especially when using Tulip’s Carry T Tunisian bamboo crochet hooks for lacy stitching fun.
