FINISHING
Using tn, weave in all ends.
Pompons (make 16)
Using Pompon maker, make 2 1/2" pom poms, or work as follows:
Wind yarn around 3 fingers 24 times.
Carefully remove loops from fingers and tie tightly around center of loops.
Cut through each folded edge of loops; trim to a smooth round shape.
Sew pompons to alternate diamonds as shown in photo.
Fringe
Cut strands 15" long. Holding 2 strands together, fold fringe in half. Using crochet hook, * insert hook from WS to RS into first st at one corner, pull through fold of strands (loop), insert ends into loop and pull tight against edge; repeat from *, working into every other stitch across each short end of scarf.
Trim fringe evenly, if desired.
