Approx 4" x 3" [10 x 7.5 cm] excluding antennae.

 

MATERIALS

Caron International's Simply Soft
(100% Acrylic, 6 oz/170g, 315 yd/288 m):

Berry Blue (9609) 1 ball
or
Soft Green (9739) 1 ball

2 wooden craft sticks. 1 pipe cleaner. 2 pony beads. 1 small magnet. Glue. Pencil.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Glue 2 wooden craft sticks together forming "X". Let glue dry
completely before moving to next step.

2. Starting at center of “X”, wrap yarn around wooden sticks
towards outer edge. Glue end securely at back. Repeat on
opposite side. (For multi-color Butterflies, use 1 strand of
each color together). Fold pipe cleaner in half and wrap
around center of Butterfly, twisting ends together to secure.
Wrap pipe cleaner ends around pencil to form coil. Remove
pencil. Glue pony bead to each end.

3. Glue magnet to center back of Butterfly.
