STITCHES USED
Blackberry Stitch (multiple of 6 sts):
Round 1: *P5tog, bobble in next st; repeat from * around
Round 2: Knit.
Round 3: *Bobble in next st, p5tog; repeat from * around.
Round 4: Knit.
Repeat Rounds 1-4 for Blackberry st.

SPECIAL TERM
Bobble: (K1, p1, k1, p1, k1) in same st.

NOTES
1. Gauge is not critical for this project.
2. The pattern is worked in the round with wrong side facing.

COWL
CO 168 sts loosely.
Purl 1 round for edging; join carefully placing marker to indicate beg of round.
Work in Blackberry st until piece measures approximately 9 ½" from beg, ending with patt Row 2 or 4.
Purl 1 round for edging.
BO loosely in k.

FINISHING
Using yarn needle, weave in ends.
For best results, spray with water and let dry.
