Shown in: #0005 Blackberry (A), 6oz; #0012 Passion (B), 3oz

One Size I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook or size necessary to obtain gauge

Yarn needle

 

GAUGE

In single crochet, 10 sts = 4”/10cm

Each scallop of First Ruffle is approx 7 ½"/19cm wide.

SPECIAL TERMS

Cluster (CL): Yo twice, insert hook in st indicated, yo, pull lp through, [yo, pull through 2 lps] twice, *yo twice, insert hook in same st, yo, pull lp through, [yo, pull through 2 lps] twice; rep from * once more, yo, pull through 4 lps on hook.

Shell (Sh): {[Dc, ch 1] twice, dc} in st indicated.

 

NOTES

1. Gauge is not critical for this project.

2. To work in back loops of a stitch, work under the top loop of the stitch furthest from you, as it faces you.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first sc, *sk sc, Sh in next sc, sk sc, sc in next sc, rep from * across, turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first sc, *ch 2, sc in ch-1 sp of next Sh, rep from * across, ch 2, sc in last sc, fasten off.

Third Ruffle

With RS facing, join B with sl st to first unused lp of sc of row 7 of first Ruffle. Rep as for Second Ruffle.

 

FINISHING

Using yarn needle, weave in ends.
