Row 1 (RS): K1, *yo, k2, ddk, k2, yo, k7; rep from * to last st, k1.

Row 2: P1, *p8, yo, p1, ddp, p1, yo, p1; rep from * to last st, p1.

Row 3: K1, *k2, yo, ddk, yo, k9; rep from * to last st, k1.

FINISHING

With RS of each shoulder facing, using 3-needle BO, join shoulders.

Armhole edging:

Rnd 1: Purl

Rnd 3: Purl

BO all sts.

Rep for other armhole.

Using yarn needle, weave in ends.

CLOSURE

Cut a piece of yarn 6 yds long. Measure 100” on this piece of yarn and make a slip knot.

First Ring: Working with first length of yarn (leaving the 100” free for now), ch 48, sl st in 4th ch from hook to form a ring. Work 16 dc in center of ring. Join with a sl st to top of first dc. Fasten off.

Second Ring Now working with the 100” length of yarn on other side of slip knot, insert hook in first ch, sl st in 4th ch from hook to form a ring. Work 16 dc in center of ring. Join with a sl st to top of first dc. Fasten off.
