Polyester fiberfill

Yarn needle

GAUGE

Gauge is not critical for this project

STITCHES USED

Chain (ch), half double crochet (hdc), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st)

SPECIAL TERM

sc2tog: Singe crochet 2 together (sc decrease)—[Insert hook in next st and draw up a loop] twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

NOTES

1.Gauge is not critical for this project. However, work tightly so that stuffing will not show through the stitches.

2. Snake is worked in continuous rounds, do not join and do not turn at the end of rounds. Place a marker to indicate the beginning of the round, and move marker up as work progresses.

3. Fill snake with fiberfill as you work. Stuff the snake after working every few inches.

4. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over; yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Fasten off old color and proceed with new color.
