Caron International's Simply Soft (100% acrylic)

#9703 Bone, 6 oz/170 gr

One pair size US 8 (5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge

Yarn needle

GAUGE

Gauge is not critical for this project

STITCHES USED: 

Rib stitch 

Row 1: *P3, k3; repeat from * across.

Row 2 and all even numbered row: Knit the knit sts and purl the purl sts. 

Row 3: P2, *k3, p3; repeat to the last 4 sts, end k3, p1. 

Row 5: P1, *k3, p3, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, end k3, p2. 

Row 7: *K3, p3; repeat from * across. 

Row 9: K2, *p3, k3; repeat from * to last 4 sts, end p3, k1. 

Row 11: K1, *p3, k3; repeat from * to last 5 sts, end p3, k2. 

Row 12:  As Row 2.

Repeat Rows 1-12 for Rib st. 

SCARF

Cast on 36 sts.

Repeat Rows 1-12 of Rib st until you have about 2 yards of yarn remain. 

Bind off in St. st.

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.
