One pair size U.S. 7 (4.5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge

Crochet hook size G-6 (4mm)

Yarn needle

 

GAUGE

In pattern stitch, 17 sts and 24 rows = 4”/10cm

SPECIAL TERMS

sk2p: Slip 1, knit 2 tog, pass slip stitch over the knit 2 sts tog—2 sts decreased.

ssk:  Slip 1 st as if to knit, slip next st as if to purl, then knit 2 sts tog through back loops—1 st decreased.

k2tog: Insert needle into front loop as to knit, insert needle into back loop of next st as to knit tbl, then knit 2 sts tog—1 st decreased.

FINISHING

Sew shoulder seams. Sew Sleeves in place. Sew side and Sleeve seams.

With RS facing, using crochet hook, crochet 1 row of slip st around fronts and back neck edge. Work 1 row slip st around each sleeve cuff.
