¼” diameter self-adhesive rhinestone cabochon

G/4mm crochet hook

Tapestry needle

Slip stitch (sl st)

HEART PENDANT

Ch 3.

Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in next ch, turn—2 sc.

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc, turn—3 sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in last sc, turn—5 sc.

Row 4: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc, turn—7 sc.

Row 5: Sk first sc, 5 sc in next sc (shell made), sk next sc, sl st in next sc, sk next sc, 5 sc in next sc, sk last sc, sl st in beginning ch, turn—2 shells. 

Edging: ch 1.Skip sl st, work 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, sl st in sl st, work 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, 3 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, work 4 sc along side of heart, 3 sc in bottom point, 4 sc along other side of heart, sl st to join to ch 1.

Button neck cord: sl st in next 2 sc.  Ch 36.  Turn. Work bobble in last ch: *yo, insert hook, pick up lp.  Rep fr * 2 more times.  Pull last st through all lps on hook. Work 2 sl st as needed to draw tog bobble for closure.  Finish off.  Alternatively, use a ball button.

Loop neck cord: join yarn to center st of shell and ch 42.  Join yarn to 7th st from hook to create button loop.  Finish off.

Stick sparkle cabochon to center of heart button.  Sew on heart button to center of pendant.  Weave in all ends.
