Cowl measures approximately 14"/35.5cm wide and 34"/86.5cm circumference

MATERIALS

Caron International's Simply Soft Eco (80% Acrylic, 20% NatureSpun™ Polyester): 9 oz

One circular needle size US 15 (10mm), 24"/60cm long, or size to obtain gauge.

Yarn needle

GAUGE

In 1x1 rib worked with 2 strands of yarn held together, 12 sts and 11 rnds = 4"/10 cm.

STITCHES USED

1x1 rib (multiple of 2 sts; 1 rnd repeat)

Round 1 (RS): *K1, p1; repeat from * around.

Repeat Round 1 for 1x1 rib.

NOTES

1. Cowl is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.

2. Take care to cast on and bind off loosely. Tip: use a larger needle for both.

COWL

With 2 strands of yarn held together, cast on 100 sts loosely.

Join to work in the round, taking care not to twist sts.

Work in 1x1 rib until piece measures 14"/35.5cm from beginning.

Bind off loosely.

FINISHING

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.
