In Two-Tone Lattice using size U.S. 8 (5mm) needles, 19 sts and 16 rows = 4”/10cm

Garter stitch (Garter st)

Knit every row.

Two-Tone Lattice

Row 1 (RS): With B, k1, sl 1wyib, *k4, sl 2 wyib; repeat from * across, ending k4, sl 1 wyib, k1.

Row 2: With B, p1, sl 1, wyif, *p4, sl 2 wyif; repeat from * across, ending p4, sl 1 wyif, p1.

Row 3: With A, repeat Row 1.

Row 4: With A, k1, sl 1 wyif, *k4, sl 2 wyif; repeat from * across, ending k4, sl 1 wyif, k1.

Row 5: With B, k3 *sl 2 wyib, k4; repeat from * across, ending sl 2 wyib, k3.

Row 6: With B. p3, *sl 2 wyif, p4; repeat from *, ending sl 2 wyif, p3.

Row 7: With A, repeat Row 5.

Row 8: With A, k3, *sl 2 wyif, k4; repeat from * across, ending sl 2 wyif, k3.

Repeat Rows 1-8 for patt st.

NOTE: Wristlets are knitted side-to-side.

WRISTLETS (Make 2)

With A, CO 29 sts.

K 6 rows for Garter st, dec 3 sts evenly spaced on last row--26 sts. 

Change to patt st and work until piece measures 7¾” from beg, ending with WS.  Fasten off B.  Next row (RS): With A, k inc 3 sts evenly spaced across row--29 sts.

K 5 more rows for Garter st. BO loosely across.

FINISHING

With A, work 1 row single crochet around all edges. 

Overlap Garter st edges and sew 3 buttons to top, bottom and center of each wristlet, through all thicknesses. 

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.
