Slip st: Slip next st purlwise from left needle to right needle.

Row 1: *K1, p1; rep from * across.

Row 2: Knit the purl sts, purl the knit sts.

Rep Row 2 for Seed st.

Slip st patt (multiple of 3 sts plus 2):

Row 1: *With B, k2, sl 1; rep from *, end k2.

Row 2: *With B, p2, sl 1; rep from *, end p2.

Row 3: With A, knit.

Row 4: With A, knit.
Rep Rows 1-4 for Slip st patt.

NOTES

Carry unused color along side of work. 

When changing colors always work the first stitch tightly.

SCARF

With A, CO 29 sts.

Border:

Work 3 rows in Seed st.

Beg Slip st patt:

Rep Rows 1-4 of Slip st patt until piece measures approx 72" from CO edge, ending with patt Row 2.

Border:

With A, work 3 rows in Seed st.

FINISHING

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.

Block: Lay knitted piece flat. Spray with water, making sure edges are flat. Allow to dry.

Fringe: Cut color B yarn into 18" lengths. Using 6 strands of yarn, make a fringe in each k2 color B space. Trim fringe evenly.
