One circular needle size U.S. 8 (5mm), 24”/61cm long

GAUGE

In Slip stitch pattern, 12 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10cm

Note: Gauge is not critical for this project.

STITCHES USED

Slip Stitch Pattern:

Rnds 1-2: Using MC, *p2, wyib (with yarn in back) slip1 st as if to k; rep from * around.

Rnds 3-4: Using A, k around.

Rep Rnds 1-4 for Slip st patt.

 

NOTES

Place marker at the end of round and move up each round.

For color changes, carry the unused color up work.

Helpful Hint: To avoid a twisted cast on edge, you may prefer to knit the first row straight and join work at the end of the first row to work in the round.  Simply stitch the first row together while weaving in your yarn end.

COWL

Using MC, CO 135 sts.

Rnds 1-2: Using MC, *p2, wyib slip 1 st as if to k; rep from * around.

Rnds 3-4: Using A, k.

Rnds 5-114: Work in Slip st patt, ending with Rnd 2.   

Using MC, BO.

 

FINISHING
