Caron International's Simply Soft Party (99% acrylic, 1% polyester; 3oz/85g, 171yds/156m):

Shown in: #0007 Black Sparkle, 5oz/142g

One pair U.S. size 10½ (6.5mm) straight needles, or size to obtain gauge

Two stitch markers
28 seed beads—size #6
beading needle
yarn needle

GAUGE
In St st, 16 sts and 24 rows = 4"/10cm

SPECIAL STITCH
Bead Stitch: Bring yarn to front, slide bead up to needle, sl next st purlwise, bring yarn to back, tighten yarn before working next st.

SCARF

Thread beads onto yarn. CO 33 sts. Knit 1 row.

Row 1 (RS): K3 for Garter st border, pm (place marker), bead st, *k1, bead st; rep from * across to last 3 sts, pm, k3 for Garter st border.

Row 2: K3, sm (slip marker), purl to last 3 sts, sm, k3.

Row 3 (RS): K3, *k1, yo, k2, k2tog tbl (though back loop), k2tog tfl (through front loop), k2, yo; rep from * twice more, end k3.

Row 4: Rep Row 2.

Rep last 2 rows until piece measures 51"/129.5cm from CO edge, end with WS row. 

Next Row (RS): Rep Row 1.

Next Row: Knit. BO.

Finishing
Using yarn needle, weave in all ends. Wet block, if desired.
