Scarf is worked along both sides of the beginning chain, in rounds.
SCARF
Chain 160.
Round 1: Beginning in fourth ch from hook (3 skipped chains count as dc), work 2 dc in fourth ch, * ch 1,
skip next 2 ch, work 3 dc in next ch; repeat from * across to last ch, in last ch work [ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1 (first
corner), 3 dc, ch 1 (second corner), 3 dc]; working along opposite side of beginning ch, ** ch 1, work 3 dc in
same ch as 3-dc from opposite side; repeat from ** across to last ch, in last ch work [ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1 (third
corner), 3 dc, ch 1 (fourth corner)], join with a slip st to third ch of beginning ch-3.
Round 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), work 3 dc in first ch-1 space, * ch 1, work 3 dc in next ch-1 space;
repeat from * around, working [ch 1, 3 dc , ch 1 (corner), 3 dc] in each of next 3 corner ch-1 spaces, ch 1, in
last corner ch-1 space work [ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1 (corner), 2 dc], join with a slip st to third ch of beg ch-4.
Round 3: Slip st in next ch-1 space, ch 3 (counts as dc), work 2 dc in same space, * work 3 dc in next space;
repeat from * around, working [3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc] in each corner ch-1 space, join with a slip st to top of beginning
ch-3. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Using tn, weave in ends.
Pompons: Make four pompons, each 2" in diameter. Attach 2 pompons to each end of scarf.
Make 4 pom poms.

Machine Wash: warm water, gentle cycle. Machine Dry: low heat, delicate cycle.
