MATERIALS

Vickie Howell for Caron Sheep(ish) (70% Acrylic/30% Wool; 3oz/85g, 167yds/153m)
#0017 Turquoise(ish): 2 balls


One pair size U.S. 8 (5mm) knitting needles, or size to obtain gauge.
Crochet Hook size U.S. H-8 (5mm)

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
Straight Pins
Bolster 21”/53.5cm long x 6”/15cm diameter
Yarn needle

GAUGE
In pattern stitch, 12 sts = 4"/10cm.

BOLSTER COVER

CO 66
Row 1 (RS): *K3, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, k3; rep from * to end.
Rows 2, 4 and 6: Purl.
Row 3: *K2, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, k2tog, k2; rep from * to end.
Row 5: *K1, k2tog, yo, k5, yo, k2tog, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 7: *K2tog, yo, k7, yo, k2tog; rep from * to end.
Row 8: Purl.
Rep Rows 1-8 for patt until piece measures approximately 20”/51cm from beg, ending with patt Row 8. 
BO.

Wrap knitted cover around bolster and use straight pins to keep it in place while seaming closed.

Crocheted ends
Join yarn at one end of bolster cover.
Rnd 1: Ch1, sc evenly around; join with a sl st.
Rnds 2-4: Ch 3, dc2tog around.; join with a sl st.
Fasten off.

Rep crocheted end for opposite end of bolster.

FINISHING
Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.
