#14 Coral(ish), 2 skeins

Shop Online
One pair size 8 (5mm) knitting needles or size to obtain correct gauge.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
Crochet hook size G-6 (4mm)
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
In Blocked Lace pattern, 16 sts and 15 rows = 4”/10cm

SPECIAL ABBREVIATION
SSK: slip one st as if to knit, slip another st as if to knit, insert left-hand needle into front of these 2 sts and knit them together

PATTERN STITCH
Lace Pattern (worked over 31 sts):
Row 1 (RS): K5, yo, k2, ssk, k6, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, ssk, k7.
Row 2 and all WS rows: K2, p27, k2.
Row 3: K6, yo, k2, ssk, k4, k2tog, k2, yo, k3, yo, k2, ssk, k6.
Row 5: K7, yo, k2, ssk, k2, k2tog, k2, yo, k5, yo, k2, ssk, k5.
Row 7: K8, yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k7, yo, k2, ssk, k4.
Row 8: K2, p27, k2
Rep Rows 1-8 for lace pat.

SCARF
CO 31 sts.
Begin lace pat and work for 40 reps total
BO loosely.

FINISHING
Weave in all loose ends. Block well.

Fringe
Make eight 18”/45.5cm long pieces of yarn and bundle together for each fringe. Using crochet hook attach seven fringes on each short end of Scarf. Divide each fringe in half and tie to its neighbor if desired
